Calisthenics comes from the greek work "KALOS" which means a beautiful => Beautiful body.
Sthenos
Calisthenics comes also from the word "STHENOS" which means Strength => Strong body.
Kalos Sthenos
Combining them it became Beatiful and Strength => Calisthenics
Goal
So the aim is to build a strong and beautiful body with only bodyweight exercises
